Apologizing for the mess

Favorite moment of the day (2010): my daddy came by for a couple of hours today unexpectedly!

Don't you love unexpected company?  Are you ready for them?  Do you frantically try to clean up and constantly apologize for the mess?  Will you be ready when Jesus comes or will you be apologizing for the mess?  I try to live every day ready for unexpected company.  My house may not be the cleanest (I have a family with 3 busy children) but I enjoy having visitors so I try to keep it neat.  I'll be ready when Jesus comes, too, because I try not to leave a mess in my spiritual life.  I constantly ask for forgiveness when I pray so I don't have to apologize for the mess when it's too late.
